Pattaya transport and Thai driver-card sheet

By Know Pattaya editorsPublished

The short answer

Download the free A4 sheet before your trip, or keep this page open on your phone. It puts the main roads, Thai destination names, airport-guide links and emergency numbers together. Show a card when arranging a ride, and keep your hotel’s own address and entrance pin as well. The printed sheet has space to write those details.

Before boarding a baht bus

Confirm a shared ride and its route. A direct private trip needs an agreed total before you board. Keep small notes for payment.

Airport journeys

Pattaya and Jomtien are separate bus boarding points. Use the station on your ticket. At Suvarnabhumi, find the airport bus counter:

Level 1, Gate 8 of the passenger terminal

These cards name places, not your hotel. Use the property’s own name and vehicle-entrance pin for your accommodation.

Save it before travelling

Download the PDF and open the saved file once before leaving home. On your phone, the page also gives you full-screen driver cards and links to the detailed transport guides. Keep your accommodation’s own name and entrance pin with it.

The map helps you place the main roads and destinations. For a shared baht bus, confirm its route before boarding. For a car, check the pickup position and destination in the booking.

Use the right destination

Walking Street has more than one approach. The street-name card helps identify the destination, while the Walking Street guide explains the Beach Road and Bali Hai ends. For hotel journeys, the full property name and its vehicle entrance are more useful than an area name alone.

The Wong Amat and Jomtien cards name beaches. The Soi Diana card names that street near LK Metro. Use them for those places, not as substitutes for a particular hotel or bus station.

Keep airport details separate

Your bus ticket determines the route and boarding point. Pattaya station and Jomtien station are different choices. Read airport arrival options before booking, and use the airport-return guide when choosing the departure for your flight.

Save the current booking confirmation alongside the sheet. The baht-bus guide explains local shared trips; the airport coach is a separate service.
