Smaller and less intense than Walking Street; bright, busy and easy to walk.

Everyday life by day, beer bars and live music by night; functional rather than pretty.
Where you stay decides your nights
Every area trades something: noise for convenience, beach for distance, price for pavements. Here's the short version; the area chooser does the rest.
Central Pattaya & Beach Road
The middle of everything: Beach Road, Second Road and the malls, with Walking Street, Soi 6 and the Soi Buakhao side all a short ride away.
Trade-off: Noise. Bars and live music run late, so the room you pick matters more than the hotel's star rating.
Soi Buakhao & LK Metro
The inland street two blocks back from the beach, packed with budget hotels, bars, markets and daily-life shops, with LK Metro and Tree Town in the middle.
Trade-off: Bar noise, busy weekends and poor pavements; Beach Road is a walk away.
Jomtien
A long beach south of Pratumnak with its own neighbourhood feel, beach bars and markets, connected to Pattaya by Thappraya Road.
Trade-off: The main nightlife streets are a ride away, and the last rides back late at night cost more effort.
Pratumnak
The green, hilly residential headland between Pattaya Beach and Jomtien, home to the Big Buddha temple.
Trade-off: It is hilly and spread out: you will use taxis or a scooter for most things.
